Since first firing up the ovens in 1992, the master bakers at Zingerman’s Bakehouse in Ann Arbor have made traditional, hearth baked loaves of bread and full-flavored, straight-forward pastries by hand every day. All their ingredients are ones your grandma would recognize, like organic flour, real butter, real vanilla, fresh eggs,  and toasted nuts. The results are tremendously delicious and remarkably consistent. You really can taste the difference.
