The most flavorful nuts tend to be heirloom varieties, like Spanish peanuts or Marcona almonds. They're often harder to grow, but they have incredible depth of flavor. But getting great nuts doesn't stop there. The best ones are generally roasted at low temperatures in small batches, giving them plenty of time to intensify those roasty, toasty, nutty flavors we love. You really can taste the difference.
