Gingerbread Caramels

There’s a lot to love about these gingerbread caramels from The Blu Kitchen. Adina St. John uses heavy cream and salted butter from local Michigan farms. She adds molasses and a not-too-spicy blend of ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and allspice to create a comforting and recognizable warm gingerbread flavor. And then there’s the texture. Each bite is so soft, so buttery, so lusciously indulgent, that it’s hard not to close your eyes to fully focus on the enjoyment.

Each box holds about twelve to fourteen individually wrapped caramels. Each one is a gift of an opportunity to live in a sweet, caramel moment.
